Hi, I’m Joann — and this isn’t just a business, it’s personal.
My journey didn’t start with a logo or a business plan.
It started with a 2-month-old baby, no internet, and a choice every mother dreads.
Before I became a VA, I worked night shifts in the call center industry while raising a newborn. My husband and I were starting from scratch - no financial cushion, no family backup. Just grit, faith, and a shared belief that we could build something of our own.
When the pandemic hit, we were forced to work from home. With no setup of our own, I borrowed an office corner and my husband’s laptop. That’s where I discovered freelancing.
I applied everywhere. Learned fast. Burned out faster.
But I never gave up - because my biggest why was waiting for me at home.
I’m a mom, a wife, and a night-shift warrior.
I still work overnight while my daughter sleeps.
I batch client work at 9 PM, map content at 3 AM, and wrap up as the sun rises.
It’s not perfect — but it’s mine. And it gives me the freedom to build a life I’m proud of.
